Swedish Massage
Swedish massage is a basic relaxation massage with therapeutic focus on particular areas.  A variety of techniques  specific to the needs of each client are utilized.  Swedish massage helps relieve stress and tension, relax muscles, promote circulation, address specific muscle concerns, as well as, contribute to overall health and well being.
Elder Massage
Sensitivity and consideration to the changes in our bodies as we advance through life are of primary concern. Elder massage is a modified, compassionate touch therapy tailored to individual needs. It can be done at home, in a care or rehab center,  in a chair or a in an adjustable bed.  A sense of peace, comfort and overall relaxation is the typical result.

Chair Massage
Using a special chair, this type of massage is of shorter duration,
usually 10 to 30 minutes. Concentration is on the upper body - neck,  shoulders and mid back. Arms, hands, head and low back may also be included. Tension relief and stress reduction can be achieved with this type of massage.  Chair massage is most appropriate for on site (work place) visits or at special events.

Cranial Sacral Therapy (CST)
The sacrum (tail bone), cranium (skull) and spinal cord form a separate, enclosed system inside the body. Within this system, the cerebrospinal fluid flows in it's own rhythm or pulse. CST is a gentle hands on method that improves the health and functioning of this system affecting the central nervous system and thus, the whole body .  A deep sense of relaxation, enhanced sleep, headache and sinus relief are some of the more common effects.
Energy Work
Polarity Therapy and Reiki are two different approaches to working with the biomagnetic and bioelectric energy fields of the body.  Both offer a light touch, are safe, gentle and non-invasive. Polarity works with the positive, neutral and negative charges of the body. Reiki works with the universal life energy (ki) that inspires every living thing. Both systems can help to encourage the body's own healing abilities by promoting  balance, harmony and peace in mind, body and spirit (rei).

Lymphatic Drainage Therapy
Lymph drainage therapy is also a light touch therapy.  It focuses specifically on the lymph vessels and pathways to stimulate this aspect of the immune system.  Additionally, it stimulates the parasympathetic nervous system promoting restorative functioning.  Effects of this therapy can include headache and sinus relief, reduction of edema or inflammation, mild increase in vitality, enhanced sleep and support to healing processes.
